Delivery Terms

    Most of the products sold through this website are low cost but bulky products. We primarily cater to large buyers. However, with a view to popularize hi tech and organic home gardening, we also sell to retail customers. Since the ordered quantities are ususally large such as 25 Kg or 50 Kg and the cost per Kg being very less including the shipping charge, we will not be able to ship it through regular courier companies as the cost of shipping becomes much higher than the cost of the product itself.

    We mostly use parcel companies to ship to your town. The choice of the parcel service, depends on the quantity you buy, the cost of the product, the town where it is to be delivered etc. Hence we may choose to ship one product through one parcel office and another through another parcel office. We use India Post, Railway Parcel as well as Private parcel operators to ship the products. We may also pack multiple products in one package.

    As we use parcel companies, the product can only be shipped to the nearest parcel office in your town. Door delivery may not be always possible. We request you to kindly take delivery of your products from the parcel office in your town. If you have paid for door delivery, but we are unable to effect door delivery in your town, we will refund you the door delivery charges. 

    If none of the parcel offices serve your city, then we may cancel your order and refund your payment. We will mail or call you in case of such a situation to look at ways by which we can deliver the products to you.

    We will ship your products within a week of your order. Please note that parcel companies may take upto two weeks from the date of shipping to send the parcel to your town depending on the distance. If you notice that the parcel company is taking more time for transporting the products, please contact us by mail and we will take up the issue with the parcel operators.

    We will provide you tracking details whenever available to help track your parcel online. In some cases, online tracking may not be available and you may have to wait for a call from the local parcel office or visit them to know about the arrival of your parcel.

    Where documents are required to take delivery of the parcel, they will be couriered to you separately and the tracking details will sent for the courier. Please make sure that you keep the documents safe until you take delivery of the material.

    If a parcel operator demands handling charges, demurrage, storage charges, loading and unloading charges at your local parcel office, that will have to be paid separately and will not be borne by us. Also the price does not include any Octroi or Entry Tax levied by some states and may have to be paid separately to the transporter.
